This week I spent time with my family in Upstate New York. It is always a good time to go “back home” to try to break the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives. This trip was especially important for me. I got to see my oldest nephew graduate from high school, attend my 30th high school reunion and simply to be with family.
Today, I took a trip back to where my life began, my birthplace of Little Falls, NY. This little town in the Mohawk Valley never gets old. It’s funny how things do not seem as BIG as what they seemed when you were a child. This town brings back so many of my favorite memories.
If any one is familiar with horror movies, you may recognize this Main Street as being in the movie called The Quiet Place. It starred actors John Krasinski and Emily Blunt.
Of course this little town is not as scary as the movie shows but to visit Little Falls, you will quickly see that this is a quiet place that you could call home and fall in love.
